Screaming VHS is an experimental project we’ve been working on for over a year, a conceptual continuation of our brainwashing TV toy. We have always wanted to create another work that can be combined with illustrations and toys. We chose videotapes because they are compatible with the nostalgic and underground creative elements we have always insisted on, and the shapes of videotapes are also quite easy to collect and display.

For the first series, we have cooperated with Deadly Prey Gallery in the US. We redesigned the Ghana movie poster into a videotape design.

When people hear of videotape, the first impression is the movie, but in simple terms, it is just a cassette tape that can record video. The information in the videotape can be anything, as long as you write a title on the videotape, you can change its meaning. This gives people a lot of imagination, this is what we find interesting, and it is a pretty good creative platform.

In addition to the Ghana movie poster, we also plan to collaborate with various artists to create original or parody videotape projects in the future. We also hope that collectors will participate in making their designs. We will share their works on social platforms. For excellent works, we will also consider cooperating to launch limited-edition toys.

About Screaming VHS Sofubi Toys
The videotape itself is a squeaky toy made from soft vinyl (Sofubi) and each version comes with its original designed packaging. Each videotape also comes with a custom-made PVC bag and a LACKLUSTER Video header card.

This version is a parody bootleg toy and not a licensed product.

Awesome Toy VHS 產品簡介
“尖叫錄影帶”是我們籌備了超過一年的實驗性項目，是我們洗腦電視機玩具的概念延續。
我們一直希望創作另一款能跟插畫和玩具結合的作品，我們之所以選擇錄像帶，是因為它非常符合我們一直堅持的懷舊和地下創作元素，而且錄像帶的形狀也很方便收藏和展示。

首個系列我們找來了美國Deadly Prey Gallery (致命獵物畫廊)合作，我們將非洲加納(Ghana)的地下電影海報重新設計成錄影帶設計（我們將有更多關於致命獵物畫廊和加納電影海報文字討論)。

當人們聽到錄像帶時，第一個印象是電影，但簡單來說其實只是一個可以錄製視頻的磁帶盒，錄像帶中的信息可以是任何東西，只要在錄像帶上寫一個標題，就可以改變它的含義。這給了人們很大的想像空間，這是我們覺得有趣的地方，是一個很好的創作平台。

除了加納電影海報，我們還計劃在未來與多位藝術家合作創作原創或惡搞的錄影帶項目。除了我們製作的合作版本，我們也希望玩家參與製作他們的影帶設計。我們將在社交平台上分享他們的作品。對於優秀作品，我們也會考慮合作推出限量玩具。

關於Screaming VHS Sofubi玩具
錄影帶本身是一個由軟膠 (Sofubi) 製作出來的發聲玩具，每個版本都帶有獨立設計的包裝。每款錄影帶同時還配有一個特別定制的PVC袋與LACKLUSTER Video包裝頭卡。

此版本包裝上的所有元素源自於藝術家致敬畫作，並非官方授權產品。
