Introduction by Awesome Toy:
The design of PACHIMAN is based on a bootleg version of the PERMAN toy made in Japan in the 1970s. The original toy was only about 10cm tall and only had a movable head. We redesigned the toy to be about the size of the retro counter display, the toy is approximately 8″ (225mm) tall and has 3 articulations.

Counter display is a display that the store would put next to the cash register for promotional purposes in the past. It is usually a mascot of a different product or an enlarged version of a toy product. In the past, this counter display items were not for sale and were only provided to the store for promotional purposes.

In addition to the Sofubi toys such as Tokusatsu heroes and Kaiju, we have been collecting Counter displays Sofubi for years now. PACHIMAN will be our first toy produced according to this ratio. Although the height of this product is similar to a standard-sized Sofubi toy, we pay more attention to the player’s hand feeling when positioning the product size. We hope that Sofubi collectors would love this direction~

This version will not come with a header card packaging.
This doll is perfect for collectors who interested in collecting blank Sofubi, or artist who wants to paint this toy.
