Awesome Toy “BARS” Sofubi Robot

Introduction by Awesome Toy:
Originally inspired by the robot “TARS” from Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar (2014), our “BARS” sofubi figure was first designed in 2015.

Each of BARS’ legs is a chocolate bar, connected by magnets on both sides.
At the time, the magnets we had were too strong—so strong, in fact, they sometimes ripped out of the joints during disassembly. Because of this issue, we canceled the release.

After years of collectors asking about BARS, we’ve decided to revisit the project.
We’ve now sourced improved magnets with just the right strength. It’s time to bring BARS back to life.
This is our Sofubi experiment project, so it’s not perfect. But if you’re interested in this toy, we’re offering a limited-time deal!
